TYPO3 - Advantages for users

Publish when and from where you want: The website can be managed from any computer with an Internet connection (regardless of platform) and a normal browser. Additional software: None. Update your content on a time-controlled basis by specifying start and stop dates.

Publish your content where you need it: Whether website, operating instructions as PDF, app feeds or for use via social media. In TYPO3, you create and manage the content, but publish it where and how you need it.

Pretty much every user knows "copy, cut, paste" - and can use it. TYPO3 offers these functions together with an internal clipboard for rearranging content objects. TYPO3 also offers multiple clipboards synchronously, allowing any number of elements to be copied and moved.

Two clicks and the link is ready! And this is even consistent throughout, "blind" or "dead" links within the system are a thing of the past. TYPO3 also manages links that have been moved several times automatically and correctly.

The TYPO3 link validator checks outgoing, external links for availability and reports errors centrally and automatically to TYPO3 editors and admins.

More than 50 languages are already fully integrated in TYPO3. This means that editors, moderators, etc. produce content in a fully translated user interface.

What you see is what you get! With the Rich Text Editor (RTE), the user can format texts, insert images and set internal/external links - just like in Word or other word processors.

The page order is displayed in a clear hierarchical page tree - as in Windows Explorer, for example.

TYPO3 offers automatic image management, images are scaled physically and correctly and even optimized for the web. TYPO3 not only ensures correct, but also web-optimized presentation. It also supports formats that are not actually intended for the Internet, such as TIFF, AI, PDF, PCX and others, and converts them automatically. TYPO3 also offers tools for post-processing images or creating dynamic images from content elements.

The integrated DAM (Digital Asset Management) for storing and managing any digital content, in particular media files such as graphics, videos, music files and text modules.

Meta data such as titles, descriptions, alternative texts, authors, licenses or copyright information for digital assets can be centrally recorded and edited and, if required, overwritten in content elements based on context.

Import MS Word or rich text documents from local applications by simply copying and pasting them into the TYPO3 editor. Automatic cleanup helps to remove unnecessary HTML commands in order to publish consistent content on your website.

Small helper tools for recurring standard tasks make your work easier, e.g. the creation of tables, forms, lists, the creation of multiple pages, sorting and much more.
